I’ve been wondering when Google would get around to this. Looks like WikiMapia beat them to it: How to add a Google Map to any web page in 30 seconds.
I was going to embed a map to my home, but decided maybe my wife wouldn’t like that. So here’s a map to the beautiful NCAR building at the top of Table Mesa, which I can almost-but-not-quite see from my office window.
